Ms. Esmy has always had a passion for teaching, first within her brothers, soon after, branching into her community.

Ms. Esmy began her teaching career at the age of 14 hoping to provide for her big family. With a very decorated background she began teaching religious classes on weekends and to fuel her passion she later became a counselor at an afterschool program. Growing into her teenage years and getting accustomed to college

Ms. Esmy became a certified teachers assistant, later on a Teachers supervisor at Manhattan Kids Club and then BCBA certified to administer ABA therapy to children on the spectrum. Ms. Esmy has worked as a direct support specialist and ABA therapist since 2017.

Throughout her work she also created her own tutoring program called Durans’ Education Station in hopes of it turning into a daycare

at some point. This led to her partnership with B& J Wonderland Daycare. Ms. Esmy brought her talents to our facilities looking to create more opportunities for the children within our communities. Ms. Esmys goal is to impact and teach as many young minds as she can in her lifetime.
