Description
Stretch limos are luxury limousine that has been made more extended than it was when they left the factory. This is usually done to fit more people or make more space inside. Usually, these vehicles are used for special occasions like weddings, proms, bachelor or bachelorette parties, or corporate events. Stretch limousines were first thought of in the 1920s when wealthy people hired chauffeurs to drive them around in cars lengthened to make more room for passengers. In the following decades, stretch limousines became increasingly popular, especially in the United States, where they symbolized glamour and luxury.
Stretch limousines come in various sizes and styles today, from classic models like the Lincoln Town Car and Cadillac Escalade to more modern ones like the Hummer H2 or Chrysler 300. These vehicles can usually hold anywhere from six to twelve people and come with various amenities, such as leather seats, sound systems, minibars, and lighting that changes colors to match the mood. Stretch limousines are usually associated with high-end events and transporting VIPs, but they can also be used for many practical reasons.
