Description
Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts grew out of what was originally known as the Indian National Theatre in 1950. Since then, we’ve grown to be a landmark in Delhi’s theatre circuit. Today it is an independent cultural society committed to promote arts & culture as well as nurture talents in the field of performing arts. We are devoted to preserve Hindi theatre along with other forms of globally recognized performing arts.
Every year SRCPA conducts various forms of Festivals to celebrate the many forms of Performing Arts. Connections festival brings to Delhi a variety of spectacles featuring different art forms and genres. Swami Hari das Tansen Sangeet Nritya Mahotsav revives and spreads the heritage towards a cultural ‘renaissance’ and resuscitation of the musical ethos. Shri Ram Kavi Sammelam brings together the finest literatures and renowned poets under one roof. Panna Bharat Ram Theatre Festival, Sumer Theatre festival and Children Theatre Festival showcase the best productions of SRCPA Repertory, SRCPA Students and Children theatre productions.
