UPASANA EDUCATION TRUST is a non-governmental organization having its office at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It was incepted in the year 2003 and since its inception the organization has been working with the people towards the economic, social, environment and education promotion in society. Over the past 11years UET started formal education through establishing KALINGA COLLEGE OF COMMERCE (a day-cum-residential +2 & +3 exclusive commerce college at Bhubaneswar). The organization has undertaken many skill development training programmes under the Ministry of State Govt. and Central Govt. to work out among poor, needy and down trodden people to eradicate poverty and unemployment in society. Upasana Education Trust always given priority to women, SC & ST and school dropout candidates in making them employable.

UPASANA SKILL TRAINING AT A GLANCE :

Empanelled with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for STAR (Standard Training and Assessment & Reward), PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikash Yojana) and PMKVY1 programme sponsored by NSDC from year 2013. Around 21000 candidates has been successfully trained in different job role of sector skill councils. At present Upasana Education Trust is one of the vocational training providers of SSCs in Healthcare, Plumbing, Retail, Agriculture, Apparel and Automotive Skill Sector etc.

Engaged in upliftment of socio-economic development of the SC & ST people through empanelled with OSFDC(a govt. of Odisha enterprise under ST & SC dev. deptt.), for training and placement link programme. 2448 trainees has been trained in Textile, Sewing Machine Operator, Fitter, Electrician and Nursing courses under this programme and placed in different organisation in India.

Empanelled as integrated tribal development agency (ITDA) and 252 trainees has already been trained in Tailoring, Computer, Healthcare multipurpose worker and driving courses.

Registered vocational training provider under the Ministry of labour and Employment.619 trainees has been trained in different modules.

Empanelled with Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. Of India for placement linked skill training programme in the year2012-13 and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gramin Koushyal Yojna in the year 2013-14.1525 candidates has been trained under the programme and 1270 candidates has been placed in different organized sector in India.

Empanelled with Ministry of Textile, govt. of India, for dyeing & printing and apparel training.1000 trainees are under training in this programme.

Empanelled with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) as funded partner in year 2019.
