Having lived in Northmead from the age of three, he attended Northmead Public School where Dr Thomas Choi graduated as school captain, and continued his education in the area while attending Baulkham hills High school. Having completed his dental degree at the University of Sydney, the majority of his dental training was conducted at Westmead hospital.
