We are the pioneers in IVF and other assisted reproduction techniques in Chandigarh, with an experience of over 30 years. The centre was established by Dr. Umesh Jindal, who after extensive training in both India and the United States established the Gyane and Fertility research centre in December XXXX at the Chandigarh Medical Centre (CMC-17 Chandigarh)founded by late Dr. P.N. Chhuttani the former Director of PGI (The Postgraduate Istitute of Medical Education and Research) , Chandigarh. IVF was started at this center in XXXX. The first IVF baby was born in XXXX. The current success rate with IVF at the center is upto 40-50 %. Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) has been introduced since XXXX.The first ICSI baby was born in XXXX.In XXXX the center was shifted to a new building XXXX- sector 20-D with the name of Jindal IVF and Sant Memorial Nursing Home. A state of ART, IVF lab was constructed with all the latest equipment.

Till date, hundreds of babies have born with various ART techniques. Techniques of embryo freezing and assisted hatching were also added to the basket.

The centre has also got a technical collaboration with Global Infertility Solution U.S.A. and is recognized by the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecological societies of India for ultrasound training XXXXXXXXX.The IVF lab is accredited by the Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR).

For infertility, we offer a result oriented management exploring all the latest options in consultation with the couple and their families. Besides infertility we cater to the needs of all kinds of obstetric and gynecological patients.

A team of trained and dedicated postgraduate doctors and nurses on duty, round the clock look after all kind of obstetric emergencies. Consultants in Pediatrics, Anesthesia, General surgery ,Urology and Dermatology are also available on call, as and when required.A collection center for all the laboratory requirements is available within the premises.

The centre has accumulated a large experience and expertise over the years. It attracts patients seeking treatment not only from the adjoining states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh but also from distant areas.

Overseas patients from the Middle East, Europe, Canada and the United States comprise almost 20% of our total work load.

We are also active in academic and educational XXXXXX.Several training activities, research projects, workshops and conferences have been organized. Students from abroad have also done their training and research theses at the centre.
