Dr. Vikrant Kale is a practicing consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Interventional Endoscopist with experience of more than 15 years. He has expertise in managing various GI disorders (which include intestine, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas) at a very advanced level.
He pursued his MBBS in the year 2003 from Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research (MIMER) Talegaon Dabhade, Pune. He completed his Fellowship In Upper & Lower GI Endoscopy & Inflammatory bowel disease in the year 2018 from Oxford University (UK). Dr. Vikrant Kale has also done M.R.C.P.I. from The Royal College Of Physicians Of Ireland in 2009 & CSCST-Gastro from The Royal College Of Physicians Of Ireland in 2017. Dr. Vikrant Kale has over 16 years of experience practicing medicine in various hospitals and clinics. In his experience, He has done around 3200 gastroscopies, 2000 colonoscopies, and 700 ERCPs until now. This includes a wide variety of therapeutic procedures like management of GI bleed, variceal banding, endo-luminal dilatation/stenting, radiofrequency ablation, and endoscopic mucosal resections (for early cancers of intestines) among others. He is actively involved in the endoscopy training of junior gastroenterologists for the last few years.
