Shri.M.K.Muneer, son of former Chief Minister Shri.C.H.Mohammed Koya and Smt.Amina Mohammed Koya, was born on 26 August 1962.

This medical doctor by profession was Works Minister in both the A.K.Antony and Oommen Chandy cabinets. He is Secretary of the Muslim League.He was elected from Kozhikode (S) Constituency to the Kerala Legislative Assembly representing Indian Union of Muslim League. He is becoming the Minister for the third time.
