At ComWell, we believe that everyone can work. We offer inclusive developmental disabilities services, both competitive and sheltered. Our purpose is to help develop the employable individual by providing training in work-related life skills, allowing individuals with intellectual or physical challenges an opportunity for functional living environments in the community. Our clients can form personal connections through apprenticeships with their peers in competitive employment against wage standards as they gain social skills. We enable our clients to serve as direct contributors to their communities and assist with peer mentoring for other individuals with disabilities. ComWell is a residential community designed to provide developmental disabilities services, age 14 and older. The culture is non-traditional in orientation, welcoming all clients with positive attitudes and a desire to learn and grow in a supportive, caring environment. Combining a strong support system of well-trained counselors, regular therapeutic activities, and social outings, ComWell offers residents the opportunity to succeed in their candidacy for inclusion into the surrounding community.
