Messi finally spoke out on his suspension done by Paris Saint Germain after he went to Saudi Arabia without permission. He posted a video on social media expressing and clarifying himself upon this incident. He said “he thought he had the day off” and that he is now “waiting to hear” from the team on his future.

He also said: “First of all, I want to apologise to my team-mates and the club. Honestly, I thought we were going to have a day off after the game like we did in previous weeks.
