Established in late XXXX by Dave Double out of a passion for food and service. Having worked in restaurants, hotels, and large-scale venues since XXXX it was time to set up on his own.
In XXXX Jodie Halliday came on board, she shared the same vision as Dave and helped to grow the company to where it is today. In XXXX she became a director and part-owner of Plenty of Thyme.
Since XXXX Plenty of Thyme has quickly made a name for itself winning Best Independent Caterer at the Essex Wedding Awards for XXXX and XXXX along with The Wedding Business Awards Regional Winner for the Southeast XXXX.
Plenty of Thyme is now recommended and nominated caterers at a variety of high-end venues throughout Essex including Hylands House, Tuffon Hall, That Amazing Place & Lodge Farm Barns.
We have large premises near Dunmow which has been awarded 5* hygiene from Uttlesford council for the last 4 years. We also have £10,000,000 in public liability insurance and all our staff have access to a wide range of training courses.
